The Eagle Owl

This majestic fellow took me over a week of muddling, puddling dabbling and I almost gave up.
 The eyes were too big :


Or his head as too small
His body was waaaay tooo long :
Or was his head too small . . . .

Anyway, after more then a week I was happy with him, I love his pose !

 And for comparison, I made another Barn Owl.
You can see the ( poor) stuffed one and the not quite finished one.
The Eagle Owl is huuuuuuuge !

    The Eagle owl has to be the (poor :( ) stuffed one! It is too real to be handmade even by your talented hands! Helen, he is absolutely magnificent! My eyes are popping out of my head like in those children's cartoons... Wow! Xxx

    All three are fabulous, Helen! The eagle owl was definitely worth the effort. He's outstanding. I love his pose. He has such personality!

    Gut zu wissen, dass dir die Proportionen auf Anhieb auch nicht immer so gelingen wollen. :-)
    Manche Sachen muss ich auch manches Mal wieder ändern weil es an dem Tag einfach nicht gelingen will.
    Aber du hast dann ja doch mal wieder eine perfekten Uhu hingezaubert, Toll.
    Er scheint auch sehr stolz auf sich/dich zu sein.
