I must admit, it becomes spooky to poke in this head

So far it's going okay except Pinky won't let me look at her head anymore, I have to use my Flickr photo's :-)

Sometimes I want to make something big. . . like life size.

I try to make the owls and gnomes (!?) life size but I wanted really big his time.

Pinky is my ideal model but I think the amount of work to make her really life size is too much right now.

So I decided to make just her head. It might sound creepy to have just a head but I think of it as a portrait, like a painting. 

I made a pattern and sewed it from felt, stuff it with wool and needle felt wool onto the head.

Pinky sighs and I laugh, given her an extra cookie. . . . 

She gave me the stinky eye :-)

So far I'm having fun

Little sillyness

Blogger didn't work all day so I didn't post the next story about the Uldra.

It will be here tomorrow !

I took a day off from sewing, poking and vacuum cleaning and took pics of my dog Pinky.

She was sleeping on the couch all day and that was what I wanted ! 

I posted her photo on Facebook and someone said : this isn't felt is it ?

That reminded me of my felt Pinky, I started a needle felted Pinky more then a year ago but I hurt my elbow when I was building a garden shed and I couldn't needle felt for quite some time.

My elbow is better and I needle felt for a while now but poor needle felted Pinky was still waiting for legs.

So I took her out of her hiding place and hopefully I will finish her soon

Well, that is what I did today :-)

You are a digging a hole ! ? !?

Well, he has some explaining to do !

Uncle Ukki, I asked Pinky to dig.

We are here in the Netherlands and my father is on the other side of the world, so I thought if Pinky digs through the earth , straight down, I can crawl through that hole and see my father in Borneo. . . . . . 
No No little one ,you let Pinky make a mess of Helen's garden and if you dig a hole straight down, you will not pop up in Borneo but in the middle of the ocean near New Zealand ! 
Next time you better ask me !
