Back to the beginning. . . .

I started making dolls in 2009, these are the first dolls I made.
I tried to put the pics in a chronological order but it won't let me do it :-(
The first two dolls are the first dolls I made and the rest is completely random.
Maybe you can guess if there's progress ?

This was just a selection from the collection and I'm working on this very sad boy now :
Well, I thought you would like to see some of the children I've made :-)
Helen XXX  p.s. I have no idea why the pics are not in a nice row :-(

  8. Oh Helen, it is very hard to tell which ones are your early works because in each and every one of them is an amazing personality. The expressions you manage to get on their faces is so beautiful and some of them are heart breaking! So many emotions. I also have to mention the clothes that you make for them, they are amazing and so detailed, perfectly fitting for each and every one! Amazing work. :) xxx

  11. I agree with Sharon..ALL the dolls are beautiful, each one is special! Their eyes are mesmerizing. It is said the most important part of a puppet are the eyes. I think it's the same with the dolls. Yours are alive. I worked as a teacher for many years, and your children are real. They remind me of the children I knew. You have taken moments from their lives and made them live forever. The hope, the joy, the utter sadness, the frustration. Sometimes, like animals, we forget our children are quite capable of experiencing every human emotion..even though they are young and inexperienced with life. You prove otherwise. They are ALL Amazing!

  12. Ik vind ze helemaal het einde. Zo schattig!
