Doll in video !

Okay here is a link to a music video, the rap Artist Gers Pardoel is a friend of my daughter and a real sweet guy.
I made him a doll who looks like him and he wanted it to be in his first solo music clip.
You can see it in the first couple of seconds so if it's not your thing you don't have to watch the entire clip :-)

  5. Helen, what an amazing likeness! Did you also include the tattoos on your doll? To think that you are now a part of the rap culture :-) Your talent is boundless.

  6. Hahahaa Beth, no the tattoos were very complicated and I had to work a long time on his shaven hair, I embroidered the hair and the hair on his face.

  7. Oh Helen this doll is amazing! Looks so much like him. When I tried to play the rap video it cut out every 2 seconds where I could not hear the rap song but I saw the picture of your doll in the video and his photos. I don't know why the video sound was chopped up? Anyway the doll is wonderful and I am sure he loved it coming from a great artist like yourself! =)

  10. Oh good, I got to go see the video and it worked this time. He looks like such a sweet boy and I cannot believe how the doll looks JUST like him! And your doll is in his video! It was fun to hear the rap in another language. That was Dutch correct? So interesting and fun to hear. =) I just love the doll and all the tiny stitches for his hair!
