Ukki's niece and nephew !

Ukki, what are we looking for ?
Little ones, my niece and nephew are coming to visit us !
Ah ! There they are !
Come in dear children !
How are you and your brother?  I didn't meet your brother yet !

Uncle Ukki , this is my brother, he is always a bit shy at first but once you know him ,well,  you find out yourself Uncle Ukki !
Our parents should be here by the end of this week, hopefully, they are very busy taking care of animals.
Mother is the caretaker of  special Fruit-bats and Father is in Borneo, keeping an eye on Sunbears,
They will tell you all about it when they are here Uncle Ukki.
Okay children, let's enjoy ourselves in the meantime !

  7. Ginny your mother is so very talented! Her stories are charming and I too think she should write a book! Some books in English and some in Dutch! I have watched her tell stories now for awhile and this is something she enjoys. She loves to bring magic to her sweet Gnomes, dolls and creatures. I like to write rhymes and your mother is so good at stories! I hope you keep encouraging her to write a children's book! Helen, just because we have a book together does not mean you should not write your own book! There is room for MANY books! So think about it, Ginny would love it and so would I! :)

  14. I won't stop writing rhymes Ginny because I love short poems so much. Thank you for liking our book. Your mom is so humble and kind to let me photograph her art with mine. Now we need to hope your mom will make a storybook one day with all of her Gnomes, creatures and dolls inside! Oh how I would love to buy her book if she made one! :) She could write books like your Dutch artist Rien Poortvliet! And have her beautiful Gnomes on the pages of her book! Oh I would love to read a book like that to my grandchildren. I know it would sell here in America too!!! Ginny please encourage your mom to create a Gnome book. They would be my most favorite books of all time! :)
